    Well, obviously there is no harm in practicing integration by parts; as I said to Suchal before that these questions will most probably NOT BE part of the paper but these methods will be useful in peculiar situations! Although I do agree with the fact that questions solely based on these methods...

    Well, the problem is that CIE does not always follow the syllabus, I've seen one or two instances where questions have come related to the topics but out of the syllabus criteria.

    We're kinda doing the same things now! :p I was on khan academy right now! All in all, I believe that these won't be part of the exams (I am going to do the trig. substitution since I know how to do the others), however these are good methods of getting out of unwanted situations during the paper.

    Trigonometric Substitution is hard. I've only done I guess a couple of questions but they won't be a part of the exams surely!

    Yeah, our book doesn't have them either. Our teacher solved questions and helped us with these topics.

    I loved attempting geography and I love attempting Computer. :D Yes, some questions are harder and more analytical. We are going off topic, this thread is for sciences. :p

    Computer is logical and comprises of common sense and general knowledge. I find it very easy!

    Don't know about biology students but a commerce student in my class gets furious over the fact that computer is so easy and is annoyed by the fact that we get good grades in it! :D

    The misconception is there because computer is easier to score off. They take it for granted. Yeah sure I will.

    Don't worry my friend; everybody's school is pretty dumb in this aspect. :p I asked my teacher today, she said that it didn't come out till last week, and that she would check it tomorrow, so I'll get the updates tomorrow or on Saturday hopefully.

    :) Just do a quick search in the syllabus of biology, you're bound to find out whether it's part of the syllabus or not.

    Isn't it part of Malaria? You are talking about chemistry or biology? This seems like biology to me. :confused:
