Chemistry Unit 3 Revision before the exam!

This is what i picked up from doing past papers, but honestly, that's not enough, you need to study unit 1 and 2 since anything from those 2 units could crop up!

    C1 Help!

i don't understand, could you please explain again? i'm sorry, i've never really been good with graphs :( f(a+x), according to my text book, is a translation of -a in the x direction, so why should it move up or down if it doesn't affect the y direction?

    C1 Help!

I'm going through the C1 January 2013 paper and I have a problem. I've been taught that f(x+a) is a translation of -a in the x direction Now, question 6a from January 2013 asks me to sketch "y = 2/x - 5" According to my theory, this should mean that the original curve should be translated +5 in...

    June 2013 Edexcel exams!

Because the wavelength is from one crest to the next, so you have to see the distance between the 2nd "stick" and the 2nd last "stick"

    June 2013 Edexcel exams!

That's a little bit harder to explain from here, but u'll try! When you get an equation, rearrange it to the form of y=mx+c, in this case, our equation is eV = hf - the work function. Question 8c tells you to plot a graph of V on the y-axis and f on the x-axis. Therefore, in this case, V is y...

Physics and Biology Unit 3B Notes?

Nope, Jan 2009 papers for these units don't exist, they began examining on Unit 3b from June 2009. These might help for Physics, although they're for the actual practical exam, you can use them to guide your notes, it's long, but definitely worth going over. I'm using it to make notes for...
