    CIE started publishing markscheme in 2004 so u can never get markscheme before 2004. examiner reports contained hints about how the answer has to be written before 2004.

    There is no need. infact cie examiner says that writing it is useless. but the girl, ayesha, we got distinction wrote ayah and surah number in brackets. I am not sure. But i got an A* without writing :D More important is focusing on elaboration and explaning how the Ayah relates with the question.

    the university will not chose u because for urdu a or b if u have good grades in which field ur going for example physics, chemistry and maths if you are going in engineering. Final decision is made by how much you score in their own entry test.

    It can be. I am having no teacher at school(our sir left the school) but it hardly made any difference. They did not tell us anything outside book(although there were somethings from doyle's book which he told) and markschemes.

    Look here. you marks in university when converted will be taken like this: 90% for A*, 85% for A and so on. add 8 main subjects of o level and 3 of A level and you get ur marks out of 1100. these are the marks that university counts. Professional Universities consider you grade of thee subject...
