    the range of f inverse(x) is the domain of f(x) and vice versa . substitute 2 and 4 in the original equation and u'll get the range. for the inverse, take y= equation, make y the subject and equate it to x . try it ..

    for Q10(c) : calculate the gradient of the curve that is 2 .. the gradient of the line is (1/2) when u make the equation in the y=mX + C form .. : (tan inverse of 2) minus (tan inverse of .5) : 63.435 - 26.565 : 36.87 final answer is 37 after rounding it off ..

    i'm having some problems regarding inequalities, nov02/11(iii) ,june03/11(iii), jue04/10(ii), nov06/10(i), i would be very thankful if u go step by step for the first two questions. the main problem i'm having is the chenges to the sign when shifting the number to left side.

    maybe i can .. put the greatest and the lowest values of sin that is 1 and -1 ==> 5-3(1)=2 5-3(-1)=8 range===> 2<f(x)<8 (sorry about less than equal and greater than and equal though the values are INCLUSIVE.

    can somebody please explain (i) what outliers are because i dont know how to analyse when given to calculate ! (ii) how do we analyse standard deviation values in a data? thanks dor your cooperation .
