    Physics P4 Discussion

Firstly, Vout is calculated by multiplying, (V+ - V-) with gain. Since, the input was connected to V- and V+ was at 0 potential the graph had to be inverted. Secondly, all the values of Vout will be saturated as the op amp was ideal and so it had an infinite open loop gain.

Post your LUMS admission decisions here.

Wow! First person who retreats to studying when he gets bored. :P If you were bored, why didn't you pick up a hobby (I mean other than studying). There is so much to do in life man.

AS MECHANICS p42 is (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), discuss after 24H

First of all the Velocity after collision in Q7 had to be -1, as you showed in the graph. -ve sign was necessary. Secondyly, your displacement graph is wrong. I believe in total, 3 of your marks will be cut.

    Physics practical grams or kg?

Doesn't matter. But your calculations and units at the end should've been calculated accordingly.

Can Mathematics and Further Mathematics be combined in one sitting

Further Maths has no relation with your grade in Maths. They are miles apart. You can begin studying for it next year, if you feel you can do it, then so be it. But you'll know what to expect once you have a taste of it. My observations will merely make it up for you. But I know this that it is...

    PROBLEM WITH ADMIN!!

I think there has been enough argument on this topic. It's the admin's site, and he can do whatever he wants with it. If you want to give a suggestion, leave a post in the appropriate thread that is designated for it. If the admin disagrees with it, you've to live with it. As for this topic, the...

A2 Physics | Post your doubts here

The question clearly asks for mean power so the Irms current should be used in the calculations and not the peak current as they have done in ms.

The ms is wrong for this question.

    PROBLEM WITH ADMIN!!

Amazing thread. Somebody is fighting for the "right" to cheat. HAHA! Nothing can get more absurd. @danniboi: We, as moderators, have been able to judge what a guess paper is and what a leaked paper is. And everybody knows that what the practical papers are. You are just trying to make a fool...

Writing in pencil !!! Please Help

Eventhough the use of pencil is not allowed, it won't really effect your grade. At most, the examiner will cut one mark as a whole for not following the instructions. He just can't discard your paper. The only reason pencils are not allowed is because the graphite writing fades away with time...

Operational Amplifiers discussion from start to the end of chapter...

Bandwidth in Op-amps is the range of frequencies for which the gain is constant. Btw, make sure you search up the non-inverting amplifier in the book or on internet. The picture made in the booklet is wrong. In such an op amp, the input voltage is connecting to the V+ (non-inverting) and not to...

Can Mathematics and Further Mathematics be combined in one sitting

No, I haven't done my AS. I'm giving the whole A'levels together. As far as individual paper grades are concerned, you do get to see them as they are posted to your centre. But they are not printed on your grade sheet.

HOW WAS CHEM P12 2012 ? WHAT ABOUT GT OF THIS PAPER?

NH3 can be a base without accepting a proton but it can't be a BRONSTED LOWRY base. A bronsted lowry base has to accept a proton to be defined as one. The one that donates an elctron pair is called a Lewis base. Search that on wikipedia. :) NH3 was definitely acting as a base but not as a...
