First of all, this rule made by the admins is in direct corellation with what CIE wrote in the statement of entry in recent times. Are you giving Edexcel board's papers? Even if that is, you are definitely allowed to give both exams in the same session. -

GT would be around 28. It was a lengthy paper. First question was long but the calculations were simple. -

You didn't have to take the measurement of the drawing. You just had to show in the drawing and nothing else. Since it was one image, the dimensions of the drawing should have been in the same ration as that in the picture. -
