    New Moderator Selection!

You can replace it with "during her term as a moderator", if that seems better. :P

    New Moderator Selection!

PRINCESSZAHRA. Given that she has time for this. I thought she was a good moderator during her reign. :)

    A* Grades

No it doesn't mean that. CIE just doesn't release the component marks for O'levels. The grading system is same but they don't publish it.

    clipboards

This is not a matriculation exam man. There are 2x2 feet tables. That are big enough. Plus you can't use a clipboard with a booklet. You can only use it for lose sheets.

    A* Grades

No he/she can't. Grade thresholds are not available for O'level subjects.

    Is cutting allowed?

Put a star in front of it and then write the sentence at the end of the essay or at the end of the paragraph with the same star.

    Is cutting allowed?

Why waste so much time placing the brackets and the crosses? :O Just place a straight line over what you are cutting. Any type of cutting will spoil your work a bit but that's part of your work.

    general help needed

Joggers don't really matter. If you can wear your joggers to school in the uniform then definitely you can wear them to the examination too. Its not a big deal. Statement of entry should not be forgotten and don't take calculator covers or your pencil case. You can take a transparent case, though.

    english help plz!!

No. The question always tell you how to start. And usually, in CIE papers you directly start with "Dear ....", just like the question asks you to do so.

Maths, Addmaths and Statistics: Post your doubts here!

Re: O'level Maths, Addmaths and Statistics help available he @salmanpakrocks: Try looking at my solution and then solve the question. This method is supposed to end up like what I did. You just can't do it by using the inverse. Leosco can you elaborate the second method. How do you go ahead...

Maths, Addmaths and Statistics: Post your doubts here!

Re: O'level Maths, Addmaths and Statistics help available he @Harisshahzad: You can easily find an answer by trial and error method too. But this is a new type of question. Otherwise, there was nothing special about it. It was just a reverse process.

Maths, Addmaths and Statistics: Post your doubts here!

Re: O'level Maths, Addmaths and Statistics help available he Where will you substitute the value of x? You have to substitute the function F(x) in place of the x of g(x). And so you need an expression such as ax²+bx+c to solve this question. g(2x-1)=a(2x-1)²-b(2x-1)+5=12x²-12x+5 I don't see...

Maths, Addmaths and Statistics: Post your doubts here!

Re: O'level Maths, Addmaths and Statistics help available he @salmanpakrocks. It wasn't that simple. I haven't seen a function question like that. Not even in A'level maths. I just made up that identity method.

Maths, Addmaths and Statistics: Post your doubts here!

Re: O'level Maths, Addmaths and Statistics help available he Q9 is not as difficult as it seems to be. The given equation is sin²x+3sinxcosx=4cos²x, you just need to use one identity that is tanx=sinx/cosx to convert the whole equation as a quadratic equation of tanx. Divide the whole equation...
