Yes, go for the official SAT study guide's latest edition. Go and register on this collegeboard website. They will guide you with the examination dates and stuff. So register asap on this website. Past papers are key to success in any examination.- OakMoon!

May or June. It may be difficult because it is clashing with your As. But still, your first try should've been in January. Now that you've missed it, better give it in May or June. And then you can appear for SAT2 in October or November. You better start preparing from now. Get the word smart...- OakMoon!

History....
I haven't seen the latest past papers. You can leave the part that has allready been tested. Obviously, there is a chance that it might come too. But atleast then you can turn back to section 1 & 2 in the end. Studying extra is never bad.- OakMoon!

Talking about time, since only three months are left, you need to study all the time. And you stop only when it is inevitable to do so. In the start you will be lazy, and not intending to do so. But slowly a routine will be established. You've got to dedicate all your time to studies for this... -
History....
There is no problem in leaving the section 3 of history, since the first 3 question are always from section 1 & 2. But my advice: Don't leave section 3 completely. It may be extra hard work, however, it will really help you while attempting the paper. You'll have a choice which is always good...- OakMoon!

Everyone has their own preferences. If you have a good memory, then you can go for complete subjects one at a time. And while doing past papers you can do all of them together. But if you think reading a book of a subject at a time will get boring and uninteresting, then go for what noora said... -
Can my friend volunteer at a hospital as a co cuticular?
Definitely, he can. Working in a hospital is the best internship there is. Once he is done, he can get a reference letter from the hospital. And he can mention the volunteer work in university applcations. Community service and volunteer work is a great co-curricular activity.- OakMoon!

@ MAVtKnmJ: Can you please tell me your brother's name? This is a great achievement. Absolutely magnificient. And btw, multiple distinctions in the same category are definitely possible. We have 3 WORLD distinctions in Addmaths in my school, including me. And there are in total 12 in Pakistan...
