If you had Addmaths at O'levels then you can go for Maths. Otherwise, there is no way that mathematics is an option to be an extra subject. Given that mathematics has one of the most extensive syllabus in Alevel subjects and it is really time consuming. You can study sociology. And take a look... -

You definitely can manage it. Every year, students from my school appear for both As and A2 in the same session in as many as 8 subjects. That is the maximum. If you make a proper schedule and be determined, there is no chance that you won't be able to do it. :) -

For thinking skills, you don't have to study a lot. But it is not easy to get an A in it. Since, onlly 2-3% candidates got an A last year. Which is pretty less. -

Help! Private Candidates registry
Your school doesn't have to register for a specific subject. Talk to your administrator and tell her that you want to give an extra subject and they can easily send your registeration via school, whatever the subject is. It's simple calculus. i) Find the dericative of y with respect to x. d/dx[square root(5x+4)]= 5/(2*square root(5x+4))... Put in 1 and you get gradient=5/6 ii) Put in the chain rule. dy/dt=dy/dx*dx/dt so dy/dt=5/6*0.03=1/40 iii)Find the integral with the limits 0 to 1.. Which is... -

First of all in case 2, x-1 is equal to 0 since it is 1. And you can write 0 in whatever way you want to, it remains a 0. You can't divide anything by 0 or if you multiply its 0. So it is 0=0 and not 2=1. Maths won't fail that easily. :D Case 1 is crap. -
