    Math A* Expectations

    Well If the CIE started giving A* at 160 the papers will be useless as the standards will drop. Don't compare our paper to other years as they have also go really hard papers like 2007 2003 and 2000. But the thresholds still that time were 172 not less than that. So don't expect 160.

    Yes they always convert them thats why for physics 83% for A* which is around 166/200.

    But you might get U for the practical your candid no went wrong but they will grade the other practical and the paper.... But you wont get the grade you wanted but still you might pass.

    When you print the excel and word and you have to put you name center no and candid no.

    Because IGCSE clearly states that no sharing of work will be allowed. Last year in our school a kid put his files on the school drive and got a U cause they thought he was trying to cheat. So he did the exam again this year when he is in grade 11.

    But in that case there were many people and IGCSE can't just fail 20 - 30 kids.

    But if you can get it from someone and change the name but forget to change the candidate number. Well they will consider it cheating.

    He might be right because if the candidate no is wrong and some in your school has the same candidate number they can grade both of you down to U. They always say that check your work before you print.
