    URGENT: Extra Subjects Oct/Nov '14

Thanks for the advice, I'll leave out world history then, but I think 2 sittings are enough for O levels; to keep the impression.

    A levels VS. F.Sc

Well then, do you think I should take a few extra subjects this October. Haven't even started to study any yet, but I can still decide at the last moment and study in a month maybe?

    MCAT EQUIVALENCE (THIS IS IMPORTANT)

Yeah, you're right. So should I retake Urdu this October only, or should I also retake the rest, or at least some, of the subjects I got A's in to convert them into A*s, because every mark will count in making my equivalency percentage higher than it currently is now.

    Retaking

But what if there is one or two good grades(A*s) on the result card, and maybe one C or even D on the result card, we won't only be able to show the good grades, right, we also have to show the bad grades, don't we?

    Retaking

But it'll still give a bad impression, won't it?

    A levels VS. F.Sc

Thanks for the advice Avenger, I'll go with A levels then. I got my O levels result two days ago, and in the 8 required subjects for medical, Ulhamdullillah I got 1 A*, 6 As and 1 B. Now, the B I got was in Urdu, so do you think I should retake it this coming October?(because even if I only get...

    Retaking

But doesn't retaking give a bad impression, becauase I have a hunch many universities, especially the Pakistani universities that convert these grades into equivalencies, find out about these retakes, because schools give both the original and retaken grades, including mine.

    Retaking

I have a question concerning retaking O levels. Imagine someone gets a B in say, Urdu, in May, and then plans on retaking it in October. Urdu is the only subject he takes in October. So, if he gets an A, the B grade will be replaced with ths new A grade, won't it? However, if he gets a B again...

    A levels VS. F.Sc

Thanks guys. But how hard is it to get three A*s in Che, Phy and Bio in A levels, because I heard that even with a lot of hard work, anything can happen because of the unpredictable questions that arise in the exam.

    A levels VS. F.Sc

Greetins. After recently taking my O levels, I have to make that choice that every pre med student who plans on getting into a good Pakistani governmental medical college has to take; decide between A levels and F.Sc. Initially, I chose A levels because of how much I wanted to stay in my...

    FSc Or Alevels???????.Help NEEDED

You can't get a lot of governmental medical jobs through a private college, because most of them aren't even fully recognized, like Hamid Latif. You'll have to do some original things, but I'm not 100% sure. Still government colleges are surely better than private ones. Private ones are only...

    MCAT EQUIVALENCE (THIS IS IMPORTANT)

You're right. But that also means I get thrive in F.Sc, despite it being it pure ratta, and harder for me since I'm mostly used to pure concepts and stink in ratta. In fact, with enough hardwork, do you think it's advisable that I can do both F.Sc and A levels for medical, just in case I get...

    MCAT EQUIVALENCE (THIS IS IMPORTANT)

It is, I'm already flunking the tests in an F.Sc academy I've just joined. But then what do you think I should do before the MCAT in two years time, A levels? I know it'll be more similar to o levels, but how easy is it to get three A*s in Bio, Chemistry and Physics in A levels?
  19. shahrazedbz

    MCAT EQUIVALENCE (THIS IS IMPORTANT)

You sure? Won't students who did F.Sc get more chances because of there being no equivalency for F.Sc compared to A levels?

    MCAT EQUIVALENCE (THIS IS IMPORTANT)

That's not the thing mate. I've already all the grooming I want, and the next two years before the MCAT are nothing except studying. Everyone suggests FSc because it boosts your HSSC marks(which are 40%) because of the equivalency in A levels. However, what if we don't get more than 990 marks in...
