yep solving it just a few more minutesplzz help with this Question !!
yeah !yep solving it just a few more minutes
i got the answer bu using volume find no.of molesyeah !
yep it decreasesmelting points dec as we go down the group in group 1.
#The Chill Master when will u finish solving that Question? plzz do it quickly !!
i also tried solving the same way but i got diff values for moles nd i didn't know how to apply them..i got the answer bu using volume find no.of moles
no.of moles=volume/24
150/24=6.25
100/24=4.17
20/24=0.83
now divide by smallest mole
6.25/0.83=7.5
4.17/0.83=5
0.83/0.83=1
means we need 5 moles of Co2 mens eqn for co2 is 5CO2
now we need 7.5 moles of Oxygen so it is 7.5O2
now write
CH+7.5O2=5Co2+H2O
now balance it
means
5 carbon atoms required since u cannot change the values obtained
u can do u wll get same answeri also tried solving the same way but i got diff values for moles nd i didn't know how to apply them..
but u have taken the volume in cm^3... but we have to convert it in dm^3 before dividing by 24???
how? i learned that its compulsory to convert in dm ^3.. isn't it ?u can do u wll get same answer
the ans in mark scheme is any eq of combustion of alkene.. how can we know its alkene or alkane ?u can do u wll get same answer
ya u need tohow? i learned that its compulsory to convert in dm ^3.. isn't it ?
lookthe ans in mark scheme is any eq of combustion of alkene.. how can we know its alkene or alkane ?
thankyou !look
as u got 5CO0 & 7.5O2 and u got 1 mole of CH
so that means u cant even change moles
so here u go
C5H10+7.5O0=5CO0+5H2O
niceI've made this site that can be used to quickly access past papers to all the subjects of IGCSE, and AS and A level students. Try it out and please give feedback. Already being used by 1100+ users across 53 countries.
