for the first one main teaching of Quranic passages about "God in Himself"
there are 5 passages
1. Ayat al Kursi ~(Verse of Throne)
2 Surah Al-Anaam(ch6. V 101-13)
3 Surah Fussilat
4 Surah As-Shu'ra
5 Surah Al Ikhlas
These passages talk about different aspects of God's personality and attributes:
-Oneness of Allah (Tawhid) [reference surah Ikhas and Ayat Al Kursi (Allah there is no God bt He the living, the eternal , the self subsisting) 2.225]
-God's omnipotence (ultimate and unquestionable authority) [surah Al anaam ".. and he has power to dispose of all affairs" 6.102]
- God's omni-sense(All knowing/ all knowledgeable) "he knows all what is after or behind Him" 2.225
-Beyond human comprehension "and there is none like up to Him" Surah Ikhlas
-free from all limitations "no slumber can seize him nor sleep"(ayat al kursi)
- Free from all physical relations (surah ikhlas "He begets not nor He is begotten" + surah Al anaam "how can He have a son while He has no consort"
-Uniqueness(personality + Attributes + Actions)
- Rejection of polytheism or Shirk
i think its enough for writing an comprehensive answer on that particular question
