yeah ....maybe bcuz the diffusion always reaches and equilibrium....so after moving a bit gradually water will return to its orignal position.....Will the water level always return to normal?

so in this u have to see the mr of the gases ... the one with the lower mr will diffuse quickly towards the higher mr gas... in this way u would observe a change in the water level depending upon in which direction the gas diffused...and then it will return bk to its normal height bc diffusion reaches equilibrium (with the gases of different mr equally spread out side and inside the porous pot)....yeah

So what actually happens when the gases of equal mr are in dynamic equlibrium.
