its less than 0.001 as our value of xhi squared of 39.9 is lesser than 45.31 from 0.001 coloumnhttp://www.xtremepapers.com/papers/CIE/Cambridge International A and AS Level/Biology (9700)/9700_w07_qp_5.pdf
question 3 b(ii) please... is the probability greater or less than 0.001????
got it..its less than 0.001 as our value of xhi squared of 39.9 is lesser than 45.31 from 0.001 coloumn
no its not like that....we just look at the 2nd degree of freedom row. 39.9 is more than 13.82 so the probability is less than 0.001 maybe 0.0001 or 0.00001... because the values are increasing from left to rightits less than 0.001 as our value of xhi squared of 39.9 is lesser than 45.31 from 0.001 coloumn
