10 should be D
U r wrong its D...look at the eqn. and try balancing the eqn. again.No q 1o is B, you just have to balance the equation. And for q 21 i don't get it as well. Q 39 is A.
yes i got the same.U r wrong its D...look at the eqn. and try balancing the eqn. again.
my bad... i read it as C3H6....i mean I got the same as I got before !
could u explain How is it so? because it says 2 moles of ethane and one mole of methane :S
39 is certainly A.
39 is DCould you explain how to get A for Q39???
10 : C3H7COONa + NaOH ---> Na2CO3 + ____ (Compare the product with the reactants If u take out Na2CO3 from the reactants wat is left? C3H7 from C3H7COONa & H from NaOH so C3H8
qs 21 = D
39 is D
2 molecules of ethene > C2H4 +C2H4= C4H8
Now add methane to it...ull get C4H8 + CH4--> C5H12
10 : C3H7COONa + NaOH ---> Na2CO3 + ____ (Compare the product with the reactants If u take out Na2CO3 from the reactants wat is left? C3H7 from C3H7COONa & H from NaOH so C3H8
21 : Nitrogen & ammonia are insoluble in water so it's D
39 : ____ ---> 2C2H4 + CH4 (just add them) so C5H12
Ur most welcumMany thanks for your help! Now i understand
its not wrong the ms says d as i said !! Oct 1998 right ?. I checked its d !!Thanks. Probably the ms is wrong
