First of all read the book thoroughly then look for terms or concepts which u don't understand in these recommended sites for As & A level economics.

http://www.economicsonline.co.uk

I personally found these sites very helpful. Then start practicing the questions from past papers. First of all include all the points given in markscheme and then elaborate them. Also don't forget to read examiner reports bcoz it points out what mistakes generally candidates make. Be sure to interpret the question right and include diagrams wherever required to gain more marks..

I did managed to get an A for econs alevel. I thought it was impossible due to my physics p4 came before econs p4. Both of them do carry the most percentage of overall mark. I recommend you to get an experienced tutor or read the textbooks at least thrice. For AS, cambridge textbook is good but for A2, more detailed textbooks would be better. Do work hard on it. Practice MCQs first, then you will get a vague idea of the whole syllabus. I hope that helps.

From my experience.
