Going to give A Levels private (Few questions bout A level in general and subjects)

I'm from India in Standard 12 I have taken up Commerce stream as Humanities stream was not available at any school

I always wanted to study social sciences but now i'm stuck with accounts and commerce so i've decided to do A level in 1 subject


so the exam's gonna be in December or January (clarify if possible please) so I'm thinking of picking up one A Level subject as only few months are left which subject should i pick up my first priority was geography but i don't think i would be able to cover the entire syllabus so quickly as it tends to get very quickly

out of these which should i pick which would be the easiest and if anyone can clarify whether the exams are in December or January it'd be great


the options that i have

geography (still lingers in my mind)

environmental science
sociology
psychology
anthropology
History
philosophy

any other subject you would recommend


is environmental studies still done ??? on some sites it's there some don't have it



what are these units i was looking at the past question papers are exams given in parts



on another note is it possible to study geography in college if i have not done it in highschool

There's no exam in December or January. With CIE you have two exam sessions: May/June and October/November. With the rest of the boards it's only May/June.

Hi I am from India too..
first of all as Sitiputri said there is no exam in January for CIE
I think you would be talking about Edexcel.
And I think you should take Environmental Management but you need to do a project in it in As levels..
Idk about other subjects..

You must be talking about the AQA Advanced Levels, right? If so, then the exams are taken in January and June.

If you can't finish the syllabus for Geography, there's no way you can finish the syllabuses for the other subjects. However, your best bet would be Environmental Management.

None of them are easier than the other.

Units are units. What are you trying to say? :/

And no, you cannot study Geography in college if you haven't done it in high school.
