I hope I make my point clear here. I'm not saying that I'm right. I'm just trying to explain how I got 10 as answer.

it was some kind of String or something , which we were asked to find the perimeter of ...
string was re shaped and then blocks of side 2cm were made ..
how did u get 10 ????
look , if we reduce the Area the ,,perimeter Increases ...
we had to Find ,...No. of Squares ... through Area , ..Area Remained Same ... .
All those Saying 10 , should draw squares with Area of 4 Cm Square ... and find ..how many square they can draw
with the area of 48 cm square ...

I don't think so. It was a piece of card i think. Refer to the previous diagram i posted.

well.. i actually draw squares of 2 by 2...
if we do it by area calculation we will get 12...but in fact we get 10 exact squares! (40cm3)
the remaining 8 cm3 does not form a square but it is divided....

Don't really understand what you said... :(

You mean to say the right ans is 12? *crosses fingers ;)
