Sugar is the generalized name for sweet, short-chain, soluble carbohydrates, many of which are used in food. They are carbohydrates, composed of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen.

It has many carbon carbon double bonds.
its CO.me too same CO
it wasnt the neutralization reation though i wrote the same equation.its a neutralisation so its H+ + OH- = H2O
caoh is somewhat soluble since its solution is limewater afterall.....
are you sure about it?zinc hydroxide isnt soluble.it isnt an alkali.so iron hydoxide should have not reacted.Zinc nitrate
may be but either way its still insoluable Plus it says here tht zinc nitrate does react with HCl http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Does_zinc_nitrate_reacts_with_HCl?#slide=2How come?? Don't you think it will react with HCL to give CO2, ZnCl2 and H2O???
acids react with metals (h2+salt) metal oxides(salt+h20) metal hydroxides(salt+h20) and metal carbonates (salt co2 and h20) . it doesn't react with metal nitrate . no doubt thereare you sure about it?zinc hydroxide isnt soluble.it isnt an alkali.so iron hydoxide should have not reacted.
anyways, i wrote zinc nitrate and later thought i could have been zinc hydroxide.
What was the answer of salts qs. in sec A??

That makes sense..acids react with metals (h2+salt) metal oxides(salt+h20) metal hydroxides(salt+h20) and metal carbonates (salt co2 and h20) . it doesn't react with metal nitrate . no doubt there
Yeah Im kinda getting that now cuz its insoluable in water not HClBut all metal carbonates are insoluble, except group 1, yet they all react with HCL.
CaCO3 always reacts with HCL, even though it is insoluble.
which was aluminium
it
it wasnt the neutralization reation though i wrote the same equation.
the reaction had to be between calcium hydroxide and ammonium phosphate(the fertilizer that caused the soil to become acidic).

i wrote 22So there was this MCQ in ppr 1 in which u had to count the electrons not participating in bonding for this orgainc subs (prop-something) Option A was 8 and D was 22 Dont remember the rest thou... what did everyone write?
For almost 10 years, the site XtremePapers has been trying very hard to serve its users.
However, we are now struggling to cover its operational costs due to unforeseen circumstances. If we helped you in any way, kindly contribute and be the part of this effort. No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.
