Its cool.... IB is more challenging and fun... A levels is basically a repeat of High school..... And Unis like IB more so I recommend it.
But is it worth the risk, moving into IB at the latter stages of the course, when we're used to the usual high school teaching?
I know unis respect IB very differently, but I've got no other choice, have no clue how to work IB.

Would love to give it a spin, you have any material which I can read later on about IB

IB: I might go for English, mandarin, biology, ITGS, maths and chemistry or music!
I'm not sure though, I have higher chance to get good grade for music but I am heading towards the medical field.
Also, I don't really understand what my chemistry teacher teaches. Any suggestion?

CIE A-levels>IB>British A-levels
IB is more interesting but A-level papers for Further Maths, Physics and most subjects are way tougher than than IB. However, I would recommend IB because it is more fun and less demanding. It also gives a better preparation for uni. Also it is easier to remember what you have learned in preparation for IB because it is far less technical than International A-levels. I took Maths, Chemistry, Physics, GP (AS)and French(AS). Good luck in your studies:)

NIM, you usually don't need to do HL.
HL is recommended for students who want a challenge in their IBs.
I strongly advice you to pick HL ONLY if you are very strong in the subjects required.
Otherwise, you'd not do as well as SL and the Univs may not accept you

I've heard IB is easier, but I haven't looked at the papers yet.
the middle (equivalent to Olevel) programme that they have is really easy, especially in math or add.math

I'll be doing A level in cambridge, all science and math.

wanted to go into medical when i was young, but now i'm hell as confused, so i kept both medic and engineering open.
i also did courses in ICT even though i didn't have it in O's, so that lines open too.

i also kept statistics and mechanics in math, just so i can have a little knowledge on both, for this confusion.

but that's all for later, cause O levels' come first!
i completely heard the oppsoite, ib is much harder bcause u have all the extra stuff (essay, cas and tok presentation
