im sure u calculated the other vector right so u get 1 mark coz it was easy the other one
i think for calculating angle we'll get method mark for stating the formula (without replacing values)
so 2-3 marks from 7 is not bad

Yes the other one was right and I wrote the formula to get the angle...let's just hope for the best.. getting 3 is still better than losing 7

ther is method mark... for dot product.. so u wont lose ur whole marks... method mark for quoting angle formula as well... RawanKhalid

Yes it was trickier than last june and had new ideas I think it'll be like 61 or sth

June 14 was easier and its curve was from 61..and I think many people did silly mistake...I hope that helps get the curve lower

i think i will get 60 to 62 marks.after sufficient deduction which would be close to A
I .A we'll all ace this paper in high flying grades.just hope for the best
last time when i reappeared in o level maths i was a bit confused b/w A n B grade n with the help of ALLAH ,i got an A.so am hopin for the best

I am 100% sure Angle MAC is 45.4! However some are saying its 34.1! If you got 34.1 plz explain how you got this answer

yeah its 45.4 indeed
coz its 3 marks for the part (i)
the 2nd vector was hell easy to calculate.
so its 2 marks for 1st vector to calculate. so there was a trick
we shld've found OX n then do the midpoint n hence calculate from A

but we were idiot enough to calculate it simply by assuming it 8i+4j+5k smethng like this...with ths vector u get 34.1 which i got too :/
but it ought to be 2,2,5 -___- then u get 45.4

This paper was tricky then MJ'14 so last May paper 12 had A on 61 so this will be anything between 58-60. But last time M1 was tough i hope this time M1 comes decent so guys have margin to score A grade. You need atleast 98-99 marks p1+m1 to score A
