Hi guys

I have 1 problem in Mechanics

The energies.

can someone kindly post all equations used for Energies and Work

such WD = KE + PE + Energy Lost

and so on

well i knw some
PE loss= WRF + KE gain
KE loss= WRF + PE gain
WD - WDRF = PE gain
PE gain+ KE gain+ WDRF = WD

let me knw if im wrong

PE gain = KE loss
KE gain = PE loss

this is the case when energy is conserved (smooth track or smthng)

WRF is Work done against Friction (Resistive force)

there's one more
WD= (Mechanical force) + WRF

Mechanical force = PE + KE (Gain + Gain or Gain - loss) depends on Qs

a decreasing mechanical force(loss PE\KE) becomes negative and vice versa.

Derived this from WRF + Gain(PE\KE) = WD + Loss(KE\PE)

If in a question there is just one mechanical force given (PE or KE) you just take that for 'mechanical force' ( as in N09 P42 Q2).

havent come across any other formula...
