This is easy but just making sure:

Chemical equation which helps to increase temperature in blast furnace?

the most highest temp increase in on when Carbon reacts with Air(Oxygen) Making C02(Carbon dioxide)

Waste gas is only Co2.

c02 is the main gas but if they ask any other gas than that . It would be O ( Oxygen )

C + 02 -> CO2 ( this helps increasing the temperature)
Carbon Dioxide mainly.

I think its Nitrogen? The other gas...
no...nitrogen cant be it.....there is no involvement of nitrogen in blast furnace

On Wikipedia I read that Nitrogen is in there too...

ow really? coz i din study that :/
this is all the reactions i know of in blast furnace:
C + O2 = CO2
CO2 + C = 2CO
Fe2O3 + CO = Fe + CO2
CaCO3 = CaO + CO2
CaO + SiO2 = SiCaO3

Nitrogen is definitely one of the waste gases.
It is not an A-level concept. You should know this at IGCSE level!

Yea the other one is Nitrogen. It's a constituent of air. Read this somewhere in a CIE enorsed IGCSE Chemistry book. THough haven't found it in any past papers I've done 'till now. o_O Thing is, if they do ask for two gases, Nitrogen is the one, but i don't think they will..
