Need urgent suggestion....Applying for A levels

Hey does any one knoe tht would it b beneficial to take further math at A lvls...i mean would i gain any credits at university level???

If you want to apply for Engineering Universities, then definitely, further maths will give you an edge of getting into a good and reputable one!

its very advance maths, most of students find it difficult to handle, its not for people who are just ordinary in maths. it can help you when you are doing engineering but its not that essential.

It's not all that important but if you want an edge over the other students (at least during the first year of your engineering years) then sure go for it. But keep in mind that it requires ample concentration, good basic math knowledge and a lot of practice!

guys im in a vry vry perplexed situation....mine rest of da electives r math chem n phy.......n i dunt whether ill b able to do further math......do u knoe any body who hav taken further math...if yes plz kindly let me knoe....

heyo... im taking further maths in A levels and im doin As at da moment

first of all have u studies add maths in oleves? if yes then u could get a good start... but if not then ul find yourself in another world this subject needs constant practise and i personaly think that its not that necessary... it only covers about the first year of bsc engineering... but ul definitely have an edge in maths A2, some entry tests and 1 year of engineering... but again its a heavy burden...!!! hope i helped

your only adding mechanics 2 and statistics 2 which i studied at home and there not very hard

the pure maths syllabus is hard enough... and it is v.long too
moreover its not an easy subject!!!!!!!!!
