what is the best thing to write in ans for... why does the dust particles does not settle down in brownian motion ?

Well, I think it is.
And the reason being that to discharge electrons from the cathode, a very high voltage is required, which eliminates A and B.
Also, since in a cathode ray, the two electrodes are fixed... ie cathode and anode do not change → unidirectional current is used.
Which means dc aka D.

when electricity is transmitted through large distance what is the voltage ( high r low) nd type of current ( ac or dc) ?
