34. Two copper wires X and Y have the same volume. Wire Y is four times as long as wire X.

What is the ratio
resistance of wire X

Ans is C
How did they find the answer?

Well, im supposing & as resisitivity
so R= & L/A but theres another formula for R in volume case...if u multiply the numerator and denominator by L. u get

R = & L x L / A x L ----> ( A x L ) is volume.
So, R is also,
= & L^2/ V ! Use this and u will get the ans. You can already predict, 4L gets squared and u get 16 as the ratio.

Potential energy is gained, so

PE=Work lost(charge is moving away from electric field)
PE=Forcexdistance moved in that direction
