Escaped only through the illusion of fantasy
Insults, threats and so much negativity
Stabbed by people's cruel mentality
Judged by dress code, gender and nationality
No consideration for a good personality
Walking on this tightrope of mortality
Enough to drive one to insanity...

Yet at the end of the tunnel shines a spark
A flame, a flicker, just about a mark,
With just a string that's left to lead the way
Out of this darkness to peace and safety
