@Danish: None of my posts mentioned that those with 11 As have low iq's. In fact thats what it said if you are capable of that then you can do that. + in the end yes it may not be possible for everyone.

Beyond that i don't give any advice for a subject which i haven't done. I've done and given it this session. And 1 month is more than enough for a person who knows what is time management. A skill that is rare.

@ Jawad: Dude I'll be posting video lectures soon, just arranging some hardware for it as it would be similar to the salman khan's academy format. I guarantee you its going to be much better than butterworth's book and yes "1 month". But read butterworth's book on your own side by side. Read only the arguments section not the problem solving one, its not too useful.

I did A Level Psychology.

For AS Level LITERALLY revised the day before the exam and on my way to the center in the morning. Ended up with a B. For A2 I only attended a handful of classes all year (too many clashes) I started revision two days before the exam and totally aced the paper.

You should know that in both AS and A2 my luck played a MAJOR role. I hadn't learned all the topics. And if the topics I hadn't learned had come up, I would've have failed just like that. There aren't many concepts to learn in Psychology but there is a SHIT LOAD OF STUFF that you have to memorize.

At AS there are 20 case studies. You have to learn information about the sample (ratio of men and women, region, how they were selected etc), the procedure of the study, the conclusions, explanations for the conclusions (which consist of different theories) and lastly evaluative issues. And you have to do this for ALL THE TWENTY studies.

A2 is hundred times harder. There are 10+ studies in a single chapter...and you have to learn 16 chapters. For example I did Abnormal Psychology and Health Psychology. You have to remember so much. Theories of Pain, Stress, Schizophrenia etc. Treatment. Methods of measurement. Statistics. And you can't just write "This dude proposed this theory"...you have to provide PROOF in the form of names. Common sense answers score no marks. They don't want to read what you think. They want the facts. So only do Psychology if you have really good luck p lol) or you have awesome memory.

The first condition to get an A is to have an interest in that subject.. its true for me atleast..
I Have no interest in accounts and although i am a good enough student i just wasnt able to study accounts.. got bored whenever i pickd up the books.. So pick a subject of ur intrest !!

just give AS.
and that site Hoolah some one suggested,its for As-level Psychology only,and As can be done from that website alone with past papers.
i wouldnt suggest you do A2 psychology,as it requires alot of memorisation and references studies to be quoted in answers to score good.
As level psychology and A2 course does not have anything in common.

Well, depends on you. How good you are at cramming because psychology is more of cramming and the rest are the techniques of answering the questions.
