Hi and aoa,

I asked three different people this question and they gave all different answers. Since many of you have already given CIE, I would like to ask if you wore your normal clothes or uniform. There is nothing written in the statement of entry or the venue letter about the attire.

Let me know and thanks
I wore a uniform last year. But even if you wear ghar ke kapray they wont really cancel ur exam u know ;)

How long does it take for them to give an answer?

You said the paper is combined with a special coating but what about urdu and history paper where we are supposed to use separate sheets?
they use a string to attach all those sheets and u leave the question paper on the table and they are gonna collect and attach everything

I'm a school candidate and I have 2 exams now in external centers due to reasons unknown to me. If I go without the uniform will you sue the British Council for me on my behalf for lying to you and not stopping me? :p

About formal. I've gone in sports uniform to give an exam once. Like, Half sleeves Tshirt + sports shorts. The day was really hot and I was in no mood of wearing a trouser.
There really is no way they can stop you unless you're wearing something inappropriate.

Lastly, school ID card yes but even if you don't have that, passport will do.

I wont sue you as i don't care what ever you do (aint nobdy got time fo dat) and for the uniform ,my friend once wore a jeans pent rather than a school dress pant so they stopped him from entering and call the external examiner to tell weather if he was a student or not they didn't believe his school id .....and after some checks he was allowed so to stay on the safe side follow the instruction on the back of SOE .
and for the hot day their are AC inside your car and in the hall so dont u worry:barefoot:

Who said anything about suing me!

And, the AC's inside. What about the time you gotta stand in the scorching heat prior to the exam :hah:

You live in Sahara? ok we have to stay outside for a little while but the paper tension doesn't let u feel what is happening isn't it (or you are too calm and do yogo stuff)
So let me put in a nutshell
the thing is to stay out of trouble rather than take the risk.(y)

Exam tension? Nah. I never have exam tension.
Second, trouble? Hah! I've given a few exams out of uniform. Never gotten me into trouble. Just saying.
