libra94 said:7b....u use the equation d sinθ = λn
make sure all the units are in meters!!!
λ = 630 / 1000 000 000
n= 2
sinθ = (162 - 136) / 2
then find ur d, which is equal to 5.6*10^-6 m!!
here, u subtract the area of the cylindrical rod by the area when the rod is under tensile stressMHHaider707 said:@libra94: hey, can you please help in O/N 07 P2 Q.4 (c)??
Plzzzzzzz
cuz the angle taken must be between n=0 and n=2!!nealDSA said:libra94 said:7b....u use the equation d sinθ = λn

Do you devide by 2 because 2 is the order of spectrum or do you have to do that always?

u ALWAYS take the angle between n=0 and n=x (x can be 1,2,3,4,5,6......)
in this question n=2
by subtracting 162-132 we get 26' which is the angle between n=2 and n=2
we want the angle between n=2 and n=0 as i said before
now look at my image again, and stop making fun of it , u'll surely get it
yeah i used that, and got wrong answerMueez said:i got correct ans buh dnt knw why we cant use f=ke to get da value of k..
