Which is Easier Mechanics 1 or Statistics 1 for AS Level Maths?

You will find it a little harder, honestly speaking, the only thing studying physics helps is knowing a little about the first few topics, this Mechanics is at a much higher level than in physics.

Which is Easier Mechanics 1 or Statistics 1 for AS Level Maths?

From my personal experience I would say Statistics 1 is significantly easier than Mechanics 1 even if you've studied physics because first of all M1 is not fully covered in physics, a lot of stuff is not even taught in physics you will be surprised. Also M1 includes the use of calculus, which...

9709 paper pure maths help Please!!! helpp!!

If you're giving P3 then yes there are quite a lot of them to be honest. Specially the formulae related to Vectors topic in Paper 3 and many others. Just go through the topics and write down the formulae you use. I would list them for you but its going to be very tedious and I'm busy these days.

Tips to get A* in A'levels

I agree with all you said. :) I would just like to add that A* is a big achievement in a subject and unless you feel it yourself that you have prepared enough to get it you won't probably get it. It requires a genuine interest in the subject in my opinion.

    Chemistry prac p34

Well you're actually supposed to do the burning splint tests related to those gases but you probably won't be able to I'm sure so just read the paper carefully and predict such gases. Besides they won't usually ask you to identify gases like hydrogen and oxygen so just relax about it...

Need a little help with deciding a fourth subject.

Assalamualaikum! I have recently finished my A levels with 3 subjects and Mashallah achieved good grades (A*AB) but regardless of that I wasn't able to get admission in my desired institutions mostly due to getting late for admission. Now I'm probably going to wait for next year and since I'm...

    S1 OR M2

When I was in A1 I had exactly the same problem I wanted to go for M2 because I'm going for engineering and mechanics is obviously more important but my maths teacher forced me into S1 and now I'm really glad she did because believe it or not S1 is really useful in engineering and even in your...

    Computing 9691 Sample projects

When I was making my IGCSE computer project, I found the sample projects needed in my school library so you should check your school's library too, I'm sure I saw some A Level projects too. I'm sorry I can't upload them here because my school is finished so I won't go again and even if I go I'll...

    help!!! :O

Please don't limit yourself to just one field. Dropping chemistry and taking up further mathematics instead has not a single advantage. First of all you will have a huge problem studying A level mathematics and Further mathematics together because you need the stuff studied in maths to start...

6 A-Levels! Is That Really That Hard?

It all comes down to what you want, admission in a good university or experience. While giving more subjects might seem impressive to you on paper but in reality it won't help at all if you don't get grades good enough. For instance if you get three or four A's in A levels, that would be much...

    Which subjects to choose?

Well I just gave my A-Levels, and trust me even one extra subject increases the burden because you'll have different papers of different subject on the same day specially if you're giving AS and A2 together. So just pick Physics, Chemistry and Maths and you can probably get into any kind of...

    A level and AS problem

No almost no university in the world will ever ask you to give the whole A level in one sitting, the A Level system is supposed to be given in two sitting AS and A2. Most foreign universities accept 2 AS subjects instead of 1 A Level subject, so if you are going for engineering or any scientific...

Please Help, a bit of Confusion..

The results are coming out on 13th August, it would be really illogical to register for sitting again before even the results come out unless she surely knows that she made a mess in the papers, in which case just a few months won't be enough to give the subjects again and get very good grades...

    A-level suggestions

You have almost an identical case as I had after O Levels, although I did give add maths. If you want an honest advice, take physics, chemistry and maths. This combination the best because you have a lot of fields to go into, I know you want to go to E.E. but sometimes you just don't get...

OKI NOW I REALLY NEED SOMTHING CALLED HELP

Its usually very hard to score in P1 because the topics are so broad I mean they have the option to give 40 questions they can basically cover every part of the syllabus. So to get a good score you need to be familiar with all the topics that the syllabus holds. I would recommend just open the...

should i start preparing for my Alevels ....

If you want an honest opinion, don't finish the whole AS syllabus or something before even the year starts. I did this after my o levels for Maths and then the whole AS I was bored in the class. A little early studying could definitely help you but don't just finish the whole syllabus. A levels...
