    dont confuse this with alcohols! we are talking about C atoms only! there are no OH groups :P secondary alcohols dont form acids on oxidation but here its a double bond breaking to form an aldehyde which then forms an acid :P

    I was the only candidate who got an A* in my academy. My advice for u would be to practice as many papers as u can. Focus on the recent ones though. Write each and every step as each step helps you score marks and think carefully before solving the logic questions :)

    the GT is usually very high, irrespective of the difficulty level! do well and pray you get a good grade :)

    yeah but thats if its separate. here the water pressure is equally distributed between X and Y. Its the same concept as floating and sinking chapter :D

    its A. wavelength should be larger than the gap for diffraction. In a frequency in increasing so wavelength will decrease. hence less diffraction :P

    An easy way is to use the units method we learnt in the 1st chap :P in D the units cancel eachother out but in A they wont :D its just a tip ;)

    you cant know about the force without sufficient info so its not A or B. its C because the force is equally divided. P=F/A will not work here because the force is combined on both X and Y.
