Chemistry and Physics AS paper 12 MCQS

Q11- its B. this is because 1stly the road has an upward force on the wheels which is the opposite of the weight of the car. so its either a or b. then the 2nd force is applied so the car can move. so the force is applied to the right which causes the car motion to the right so it is B. Q16-...

Chemistry and Physics AS paper 12 MCQS

    P=hdg so h=p/dg pressure will be 10% of Po so 10Po/100 = Po/10 substituting u get Po/10dg :)

Tips to get A* in A'levels

well most important papers are P2 and P4 then P1. Dont worry that much about P3 and P5 as they have low weightage! Getting an A in P1 P2 and P4 will almost certainly help you achieve an overall A* :D

Physics, Chemistry and Biology: Post your doubts here!

Q34- A. when wire cuts the magnetic field it induces a current. wire moves only one time so deflection is only once and then theres no more currunt so its 0 again. Q37- resistance decreases for the other resistor so less voltage passes through it and instead more voltage can pass through the...

A level Biology: Post your doubts here!

how to calculate % increase? For example population was 1st 20 and then it became 50. so it will be 50/20*100 giving 250. do we have to subtract 100 from 250? or will the % remain 250%?

if u get confused then just show the C atoms and bonds yourself and it will be much more simple.

    Physics: Post your doubts here!

you have to split it into 2 parts. 1st take the positive part. I=2. then find P. P=I^2R=2*2*100=400W then take the negative part where I=-1. P=-1*-1*100=100 then average it as they want the mean power. so 100+400/2=250W :)

    Physics: Post your doubts here!

no diameter gets halved but the radius gets decreasd by 1/4th then. Try it using a value for diameter and find the area. Then repeat using half value of diameter. Area will be 1/4th :)

    Chemistry: Post your doubts here!

okay does this help? just break the double bonds and form a ketone or acid depending on whether its secondary or tertiary C atom :P 2 has only one product and 3 produces 2 out of which one is an acid :P

    Physics: Post your doubts here!

you always multiply by 2 to find the maxima. i think it was because n is only for one side or something...i dont really remember the reason :P but just remember 2 do it everytime :)

    hahah no problem :)

    Chemistry: Post your doubts here!

Only 1! 2 will produce only one organic compound with a ketone. The other options all have 2 anyway except D which says only 1 so just do that :P else it isnt even 3 because it will also produce only one ketone compound. only one will produce 2 compound and both are ketones :)
