    A complaint about Physics p6

First of all I'd like to say I'm taking the same subjects as you though eng first language and arabic foreign :D And Paper 6 physics SUCKS. I HATE IT SO MUCH. It never makes sense, especially things like improving the experiments, they just don't teach us this stuff. I mean I don't get bad marks...

    Physics paper 31 , (a death call)

Also the question about resistance and stuff If I remember correctly, the voltage between X and Y was 2.4V The resistance of R was 1.8 ohms The current I3 was 1.2 A I'm definitely sure of that, checked multiple times using different rules & formulas and nearly everyone in my class got same...

    Physics paper 31 , (a death call)

Alright guys Super summary of what I got, agreeing with others answers: First question, answer was 1.8s since it was most frequent And then to measure oscillation , count multiple (at least ten) , use stopwatch to time those ten, divide stopwatch answer by ten or whatever no. you use Err for the...

Add sodium hydroxide, and warm it Ammonium will release a pungeant gas which turns litmus paper blue Calcium will form a white precipitate insoluble in excess

    Physics Paper 31 D':

The sad thing is our teacher is TERRIBLE. He didn't teach all of what's in the syllabus yet in some areas taught us extra things BEYOND the syllabus. I have no problem cause I can study myself but ALL BUT THREE PEOPLE in those 36 went to super expensive private tutors. I could cite EXAMPLES of...

    Physics Paper 31 D':

That's weird I mean 95% of the people with me said the exam was good. Only 1 or 2 out of ~35 students said it wasn't.

    Physics Paper 31 D':

Yeah thought so. I'd so love a distinction in chemistry, but I don't think that's happening. Well actually it could! I mean, I don't think I got anything wrong in paper 6, just have to focus for p3 and p1

How did u ppl do in the Physics paper 3 2012 today?

Ahaha nothing :) Just came back from physics. Alhamdullillah it was so good! Only lost 2 marks at max, even then I may still score those ;) How're you?

    Physics Paper 31 D':

Hmm The paper was actually very awesome for me alhamdullilah! I think at maximum I lost 2 marks ;) And by distinction you mean A*? Because I'm pretty sure there are people out there scoring 100, so 70/80 won't be distinction.

Additional Mathematics ; post your doubts here!

Sorry for late reply, had my physics exam ;) Alright then, the particle comes at rest at t=5, so the summary of it's movement is as shown: So the total distance travelled is the distance travelled between t=0 and t=5 (i.e. s5-s0) plus the distance travelled between t=10 and t=5 (s10-s5)...

LMAO! Brings back memories! You could throw a nokia at the Alps, cause an avalanche and it'd still be alive if you bury it. I used to throw mine at a wall when I was frustrated. XD. The screen would FALL OFF and you could just CLICK IT BACK ON!

Physics, Chemistry and Biology: Post your doubts here!

Zain beat me! :P So anyone know how to calibrate a C.R.O? When they ask to calibrate a C.R.O. i assume it means find the Y-Gain/Time Base? So that would mean you'd put in a source of known voltage on the Y-inputs (with X-Inputs being an A.C. source) Measure the amplitude of resultant wave and...
