    All Alkali Metals are silver in colour. In the Alkaline Earth metals Group, all of them are also silver, except for Magnesium and Beryllium, which are gray, and Strontium, which is yellow-ish.     It really doesn't matter either way, the A-levels don't have much practicals to go for, it all depends on you, if you're able to study for them on your own with or without private tutors, or study in a public environment with guidance.
