    V = IR RESISTANCE per meter=0.0050 resistance of 800 m = 0.0050 * 800 resistance of 2 wires of 800 m = 0.0050 * 800 * 2 V of cable = (0.0050 * 800 * 2) * (0.60) total voltage of cable and relay = 16 + voltage of cable = 20.8 V

    35) the ques is abt the total voltage across the voltmeter, not abt the voltage across P or Q. the voltmeter is connected across the whole circuit so the total emf of the cell is measured by the voltmeter i.e. 4 V, irrespective of the point of the potentiometer.

    4 i) [sinx(sinx/cosx)] / (1 + cosx) [(sin^2)x ] / [cosx(1-cosx)] (1-cos^2x) / [cosx(1-cosx)] 1-cos^2x can be written as (1-cosx)(1+cosx) according to the formula of a^2 - b^2 = (a+b)(a-b) [(1-cosx)(1+cosx)] / [cosx(1-cosx)] (1+cosx) / cosx (1/cosx) + (cosx/cosx) (1/cosx) + 1 1 + (1/cosx) hence...

    2) expand the expression upto x^3 expansion will be: 1 + 6ax + 15(a^2)(x^2) + 20(a^3)(x^3) it is given that coefficient of x is -30 so 6ax = -30x 6a = -30 a = -5 now put the value of a in the term x^3 it will be 20[(-5)^3] it will be -2500

    path difference is 28 cm. take the first n last frequency and the calculate the corresponding lambda and path difference. then insert the values of 'n' and 'n/2' which determines the max n min. so there are 2 min

    33) resistance is same. P have current I. Q AND R have current I/2. power is I^2 * R I^2 * R + (I/2)^2 * R + (1/2)^2 * R = 12 (3/2) I^2 * R = 12 I^2 * R = 8 for R, power is (I/2)^2 * R = (I^2 * R)/4 8/4 2W

    Re: Maths help available here!!! Stuck somewhere?? Ask here! q1. the polynomial x^4-6x^2+x+6 is denoted by f(x). it is given that (x+1) is a factor of f(x) verify that (x-2) is also a factor of f(x) and hence factorize f(x) completely. q2. the cubic polynomial 2x^3-x^2-13x-6 is denoted by...

    Physics 9702

    q36- I2 is divided into 20.2 and 10.6. so I2 is the sum of both. that is 30.8 I1 + 10.6 = 10.8 so I1 is 0.2 so the ans is B q35- the circuit is just reconnected. the values of cell or resistor is not changed. so the voltmeter and ammeter reading will remain same. so the...

    i m not sure about the method whether it is correct or not cox its been 2, 3 months since i've touched p1. well what i did was to calculate the gradient of AC (already calculated in the first part). then i used the formula, m = tan theta the theta shud be 45 if the line AB wud be horizontal. so...
