    Error Carried Forward. It means you will lose the mark for that part only, for the subsequent parts related to it you will score marks even if you use the wrong value from the previous part. Only if your method is correct though.

    Question about the grading system from IGCSEs

    Its not necessary to get As in all of the components. You can end up with a B in Paper 3 ( or many other cases) and still get overall A/A*. Its the overall marks which decides the grade.
