Can you tell me any tips for biology paper

Bio is all about ratta tbh. Same pet questions from the book. And yeah, use the endorsed book from Cambridge. And higher the number of past papers done, the higher the chance of A*. But yeah, concept is crucial, since if no concept, then rote learning is futile

Can you tell me any tips for biology paper
It is about understanding first of all, and then remembering the crucial definitions, formulas, and steps of biological processes, and a lot of past papers will help but don't forget to write down your mistakes after you finish practising a paper

How to get an A*?
1. Practice what you learn in school everyday. Dont leave any topics for later studying.
2. Get the syllabus for 5090. You must know what they expect from you.
3. Make a checklist for every topic and syllabus content.
4. Dont by heart anything except for definitions.
5. Understand the information of every topic. By hearting will help but knowing how to implement your information will help you pass the tricky questions.
6. Papers are not very new now. They somehow carry the pastpaper questions in some manner. Make sure you complete your pastpaper practice prior to one month of final examination.
7. final month should be only given to learn the topics you dont understand.
8. Always remember a pastpaper marking scheme will help but not as much as a teacher. If you have problem understanding go ask your teacher.
9. If you have any doubts in pastpapers, we are here to help.
REMEMBER. EDUCATION IS ALWAYS ABOUT UNDERSTANDING. IF YOU DONT UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT OF ANY TOPIC IT WILL BE HARD FOR YOU.

e doesnt matter, cuz they won't ask you to draw a perfect one. But yeah, diagrams are easier to remember. And they ask you to label a ready-made one. So in short, they are VERY important.

for ATP you must know
1. Test for food substances (How to test if different food have different amount of food substances)
2. Photosynthesis experiments. basically everything in the syllabus about plants like germination, plant reproduction.
3. Magnification formula
4. Basic cell structures for comparison purposes.
5. You must know a control for each experiment.
6. Know osmosis and how changes in concentration increase or decrease the cell size.
remember that in experiments you should not miss any important procedure otherwise, you would lose marks

for example in O/N 2017 P6
Describe how you would use Benedict’s solution to test for reducing sugar in a piece of potato.
Include details of a safety precaution in your answer.

Here you must know that this test will be done after crushing the piece of potato. Benedict's solution is added. For benedict's test you need a solution.
also you must heat or warm the content in test tube. this is a must procedure you must mention.
For precaution, you can mention water bath / goggles or glasses / eye protection / don’t heat directly.

The students compared the colour of their solutions after the same length of time. State three
other variables that the students should have controlled to make their results comparable.

in this type of questions know what you are using for the test. For better results always vary what experiment is done. keep all the others same.
For this test you will use benedict's solution, potato and heat for tests.

For example
1. Use same concentration or drops of benedict's solution for each test
2. Use same number of glucose solution (crushed potato+distilled water)
3. Set the temperature same.
