Lets check the MCQs I remember.

1.Actively respiring parts in seed ling
option D.colourless colourless colourless

2.Parts of flower where reduction division occurs
Option B. 1 and 3

3. female 25 years energy requirements
Option B

4.unwanted effect of fertiliser
Option A. its concentration keeps on increasing at every stage

5.mass of potato piece with increasing sucrose concentration
Option A. First increase and then decrease

6. Danger in insulin production by bacterium
Option D. It may induce genetic changes in bacterium

7. Activity not directly controlled by nervous system
Option A: Glucose concentration in blood

8.Blood group
Option B. A person with blood group B can have an allele IO.

9. Photosynthesis and transport
Option C. 1 and 4 ph, 2 and 3 tr

10. Change in pH of yoghurt
Option B. Break down of lactose

11. Organs included in temperature change
Option B. Hypothalamus,skeletal muscles and .... ( I don't remember it )

12. Ovulation
Option D. 7 Days

13. Pressure in lungs Q
Option C. Expulsion of air form lungs

14. Urea to ammonia
Option : Decay bacteria

15. Limiting factors in photosythesis
Option D : Light CO2 CO2

16. Relay neurone damaged
Option C. The impulse cannot be transmitted from sensory to motor

17. Which thing is not excretion?
Option B. Defecation through anus

18. Decay in teeth
Option B: 5-25

19. Person hanging and then going upwards
Option A: Triceps relax Biceps contract Ball and socket join rotates

20. Crimson plants in absence of light
Option A : 0

Section B

Two function of insulin
1. lower the glucose concentration in blood
2. Encouraging the conversion of glucose to glycogen

Q2. water plants and salts
b, further increased by suitable temperature i.e 26 celcius

Q3.Preparation of an enzyme by bacterium, conditions in cultutre
a, thread like structure containing DNA- Chromosome
b, Part A of DNA strand- Gene

Conditions: Lactose, 30 Celsius temperature, Amino acids
Products can be alcohol,CO2 and water

Q4.Structure C. Thermo-receptors
Receive thermal stimulus in external environment and generates impulses
Structure D. Sensory Neurone
Carries impulses to CNS/spinal cord

Two constituents missing. Anyone of Iron/vit C/vit D/roughage
Iron -formation of haemoglobin/lack causes anaemia/breathlessness.
Vit C - Formation and repair of epithelial tissues and gums/ Holds cells together/ Lack results in scurvy.
Vit D -Necessary for absorption of calcium in intestines/ Lack results in rickets.
Roughage - Bulk to assist peristalisis/ evacuation of large intestine.

Effects of introduction of insects in new habitat
1. They feed on plants and reproduce
2. primary consumers increase
3. Consequently tertiary consumers increase
4. Producers decrease
5. Survival of fittest species
6. Weak herbivores ( insects ) die
7. Decrease in consumers at all levels
8. Habitat re-balanced

Need to conserve species
1. our after generations can observe and study them
2. Each have a different important characteristic
3. Some specie of plant or animal may contain medicinal drug to an incurable disease uptill now.
(Couldn't think of more points )

Digestion in:
Mouth ( buccal cavity )
Teeth chew/grind
S.A increased for digestion
Saliva released contains amylase
Starch > Maltose
Saliva softens and lubricates food
Tongue rolls it into a bollus

In intestine:
HCL neutralised by Sodium bicarbonate from pancreas and conditions become alkaline
Pancreatic amylase Remaining Starch in potato > Maltose
Lipase Fats in oil > Fatty acids and glycerol
Protease Proteins > amino acids

Intestinal secretions contain Maltase Maltose > Glucose/fructose
Sucrase sucrose > glucose

Mucous released by epithelial cells to assist peristalisis.

Capillaries in Villi absorb glucose and amino acids while lacteals absorb cholestrol, glycerol and fatty acids

THATS ALL I REMEMBER FOR NOW. I WILL KEEP ADDING.
IF YOU WANT TO ASK ANYTHING ELSE, YOU ARE WELCOMED
