talha what was your mag? and what did you write for the question that which seedling will grow into a mature plant?

My mag was wrong as it was x1100.. ...n the seedling that are green....!!!

LOL sitting in Qasre Noor i was flabbergasted....am expecting about 34 out of 40....not bad for someone who started bio just 3 months ago !
HAd no idea about the magnification and i did mess up the labeling by writing placenta in the fruit i dont know why ? !
i wrote x1140m by dividing 56mm by 0.05 mm...
Is there a chance of getting 1 mark still ?
How much marks does the labelling carry ?
I did label the pericarp,seed and fibrous tissue in place of the fruit pulp !

For the mag... i think so 0 but the labelling you'll get full....2 marks are allocated for labeling! :good:

i think that we will get 1 mark in mag ques...!!

The question had 3 marks so I said that Green seedlings as they have chlorophyll contained in chloroplasts. They will be able to photosynthesize and produce their food. Thus they will be able to survive and become healthy plants.

I didnt had scale/ruler in bio ATP I guessed the length in the magnification question and after working it out mag was x700.... only if I had the scale ,3 marks would had been saved

can u tell me which year n session the question came in ? i remember the label being at the very end of the hair..which IS hair or hair follicle..since hair papilla is the space around the hair containing blood vessels..CIE probably positioned the label line at that place to confuse us !

I dnt think they wud...v were all confused..i think that one mark was tested 4 whether the student knew wat follicle, papilla and actually hair is...anyway dnt even try 2 think over wats been done...it will only make u more nervous...!!
All of my friends got mag X1120....only i got X560...and they said i was wrong...gud to hear i was right..!!

look forward into others coming ones especially the next bio ones TRY TO COVER UP THE MARKS IN THE BIO 2 N 1 othervise u will be more nervous and depressed and wont be able to perform well in the coming ones

the label was hair papilla for the hair follicle is the tube in which the hair grows....
