No, they aren't part of phopholipids, they are distinct molecules! :/Yeah i know that!!! But they are a part of phospholipids! So! i wrote A.......
what was A?[/quote
cytokinesis!! n many of the candidates wrote A too !
That's what I answered
Do search on google! its written everywhere that phospholipids form H-bonds to stabilize their membrane!!!.............No, they aren't part of phopholipids, they are distinct molecules! :/
exactly n A is supposed to b da ansBut ! The question was about which one of the following is 'not' a function of phospholipid?
Do search on google! its written everywhere that phospholipids form H-bonds to stabilize their membrane!!!.............
Well!!! Can't say anything! but its mentioned on net too!
If this is the case! then option C should be correct too!!!.......Because diffusion n osmosis takes place through transport protiens too????Quoting from wikipedia on phopholipids: 'In biological systems, the phospholipids often occur with other molecules (e.g., proteins, glycolipids, cholesterol) in a bilayer such as a cell membrane."
They are distinct molecules, though they may work together.
AWhat did you write for the question about enzymes & metabolism? (forgot the wording of the question)
If this is the case! then option C should be correct too!!!.......Because diffusion n osmosis takes place through transport protiens too????
the graphs one????in a
A
Ummm.....ok Thank uNo, C wouldn't be correct as even though other molecules carry out the same function, so do phospholipids. We had to choose something which phopholipids do not do at all. Anyhow, don't worry about it! I'm sure you did great anyway
No no, the one where they say something about an enzyme's function during metabolism or something like that?the graphs one????
It was C.....n was a past paper question! 'lowering the activation energy for the reaction'No no, the one where they say something about an enzyme's function during metabolism or something like that?
I didn't know it was a past paper question :OIt was C.....n was a past paper question! 'lowering the activation energy for the reaction'
NOI didn't know it was a past paper question :O
Anyway I chose C too...phew!
So, what other questions may need discussing?
This may be a silly question but do Prokaryotes have ER?
wasnt it" inside n outside the cell"??It was C.....n was a past paper question! 'lowering the activation energy for the reaction'
Nope!I didn't know it was a past paper question :O
