But what if the smallest thing is not the seed. If it is the embryo contained in the seed it does make sense.

After all isnt it the embryo that germinates into the plumule and the radicle?

But still radicle and plumule were visible.. Though not that clear

This drawing is 100% correct. I asked my Biology teacher today. :) The smallest thing is only a gap in the seed.

the final answer for magnification was X5.3... will i get any ECF marks?


if you took the correct measurement from wherever you measured and did the 2 calculations then yes! but for drawing magnification 1 or 2 :p

Hey Pals1010 and Prince...
I also drew the smallest part inside...
I thought that this was the germinating part of the seed..
try to see these images and let me have ur idea...

Firstly the question is wrong! It said that the diagram shows a part of a SEED but they showed a Stupid Avocado! Now what were we supposed to do huh

it said that it showed an inside of a seed! it never said it didnt show the fruit itself too xD

hey Abhi,

I drew the smallest part as well and i saw the pic you attached as well on the net.

But most of the other students have drawn what mimmi has drawn and it seems right as well....
Now i really dunno. :(

many of my friends have drawn the smallest part...
seeing the pic on the net, wat we've drawn seems to be correct...
but dunno...:(

i think its very similar! but the seed was cut too :p

guess its time to buy an avocado and disect it :mrgreen:

heyyy was in an avocado and not a "chou-chou" ????...
btw my drawing is wrong anbd i lost 9 marks due to that drawing ;'( '( ..!!!!
