Chemistry Paper 33 Purity% answer of CaCO3 and what were the metal and anions

i was wondering what was the purity percentage of CaCO3 as well as the metal and anions

Mine was 74%
transition metal was Mn2+ nd halides were I- nd Cl-

The anion is I- and Cl- for sure.
The supervisor in our school got 75 percent in purity.
I got 91.3 percent.
BUT...The truth is that caco3 is pure!!!

I got something like 76.6% for the purity...

I got 70.something% purity
But that was mainly due to the low titration values: I think that CaCO3 was from an old stock, not a fresh one...

Yeah I mean you do get marks for doing the calculation, even if you got an incorrect answer: you would get no marks if you didn't do anything.

Yes, very much: the examiners don't accept answers in pencil!
Out of curiosity: why did you do your paper in pencil? You could have just asked for a pen from the invigilator, they can't penalise you for that.

Around 75%. The two Oxidation states were +2 and +4.

No, the tables are fine: you may use a pencil for any diagrams, tables, graphs or rough working.
But other then that: not allowed.
