No guys its 2124!

You have to filter first to remove the excess!

The choices that started with filter were:
2123 and 2124

And if you heat the CRYSTALS they'll turn into powder!!
If it said "Heat the solution" then that would have been correct.

Anyway, I don't want to start an argument or anything, I'm just saying what I wrote.

I wrote stainless steel for that question, and it was NH4+ and Fe2+, maybe there were 2 solutions in the test tube.
I remember my last 3 answers were all B!

see i think its unnecessary to wash the crystals coz they will dissolve since they are soluble ,we only wash insoluble salts to remove any impurities!!!while we can heat them gently to dry them!

guys its heat crystals
washing after filtratoin is only used in the case of an insoluble salt
u have to heat the crystals

and the question about protection from rusting
the answer is stainless steel
if u tried solving previous years i think 2003 or 2004 u will find the exact same question
and the answer in the markscheme was use of stainless steel

Guys why dont we leave that answer discussion thing to the examiners im sure they know the answers more than all of us.
We can know the correct answers later when the mark scheme becomes available.
