Messed up the reaction mechanisms. Other than that paper was fine although hydration part was surprising

I think it was supposed to be hydration. Not sure thoughThe reaction for propan-2-amine to propanoic acid on the second last page,
what did you guys say for that?
It wasn't either. 2-bromopropane is a secondary halogenoalkane, which makes it hard for us to predict whether it's SN1 or SN2. Simply calling it Nucleophilic Substitution was sufficient. It was supposed to be either Sn1 or Sn2 depending on the halogenoalkane ( primary os tertiary )
It was Dehydration, for some compound to be transformed into Y.I think it was supposed to be hydration. Not sure though
rest was fine. I completed the enthalpy cycle using both salts in solution..i think i did it like 'ions in solution'..dunno its wrong or rightLol....how about the rest??
No. you have to react it with an acyl chloride and then hydrolyse it,I think it was supposed to be hydration. Not sure though
it was permanent dipole-dipole bonds.. as elements with different electronegativities have permanent dipoles..What abt the bonds formed with different electronegativities
