do classifieds....i think the redspots can only help u 50%
Here is what i did
A mill....ah well thousand dollar secret
:D
First read the topic carefully
Then do all the MCQ's and mark all the ambiguities
even the slightest ones with a "?"
I had a teacher and he then told me all the technicalities of the wrong questions
Firstly he taught me the chapter, we revised it
Then we did all the Paper 2 questions and we discussed each and everyone of them
we also saw the back of the classifieds for reference
and surprisingly in only 1.5 months we had read 3 books and had done each and every question of the classifieds
except one topic of paper 2 of light
:D
Thanks a million buddy but what is "ambiguties" and yeah i also hate the chapter of light !! also those critical angle and angle of incidence.

I think we should consult the redspots or classified for the questions and then refer to marking schemes or a book for the answers. But above all we should have confidence in our approach of answers if we think that our answers have answered the question asked. What examiners want is our knowledge, understanding ..... .So i think however we exhibit those things (knowledge, understanding...), it is fine. We know that knowledge is the same all over the world. No one will say that Pakistan got independence in 1950 or sodium is a non-metal and things like that. If knowledge is given wrong in these books or you have a doubt, consult a textbook or even better than that the internet is available.
These things are really important:
1. Textbook
2. Past papers and Marking schemes
3. Guidance of any teacher or tutor
4. Self-confidence( :D )

Well if you have complete knowledge of the book, you will come to know that redspots answers are sometimes incorrect but sometimes they are correct but redspot always spoils it since it does not provide CIE type answers.Well the only way to check answer is to use Marking scheme and use Examiner report for guidance on that paper, thats all you require and dont forget to use your own text books, looking at past papers may make your concepts a little different so i dont say to look at any past paper book answer for a question.

Yeah but Marking Scheme answers are very brief !! We have to see how to answer the question not just copy it as a default answer as I have seen many students doing that and this means they don't know to use the marking scheme !!

guys, Note that the marking scheme gives a brief outline on how the student should present the answers. Wording/ideas may differ from student to student and so examiners have to read each answer CAREFULLY and gain an understanding of what ideas the student has presented as well as their accuracy.Do NOT always stick to the marking scheme , if you feel that your answer is correct and your teacher agrees, then there is nothing to worry. CIE will mark the papers accordingly.
In conclusion, the Marking schemes list down rough answers(100% accurate though) for the teacher's and students guidance.

Yup...yo have to use that device located on your head for the very reason, in any case !!!

Utilising u're school teachers is the best option I think because you have been with them for nearly two years and they can best guide you...thts what i've done and seriously I was into great advantage with this...Just do all the questions from the topical/classified and then mark the ones you don't know and discuss them with your teachers...

btw people, Topical and Classified are both from Redspot !! :D

I'm appearing in ENGLISH LANG., URDU LANG., MATHEMATICS D, PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY, ISLAMIAT, PAK STUDIES, COMPUTER STUDIES, COMMERCE
