Listen your answers correct . its 11/12 .
But two of them can be together .
The question said that not ALL can be together.
If your answer was 11/12, then u simply subtracted the no.of ways in which ALL can be together from the total no.of ways.

did ANYONE get 5/12 as the answer for this question???

The answer comes 11/12 as mentioned above because the question said that not ALL can be together. I confirmed with my mathematics teacher just to be sure.

but it is wrong
because in the question it said that 2 can b together but 3 cannot
the guys with 5/12 solution took only '3 not together' as possibility
also guys tell me weather 220/250 will get me an A* inshallah ..

I just hope 5/12 is correct
& besides, I think we will at least get 2/4 marks because we used the correct denominator, & 5/12 IS actually a part of total probability if 11/12 is the correct answer...

that depends on the difference between the A and B boundries
well for the nov 10 varient 2 u wuld have to get 231/250 for an A*

no i calculated minimum value of A and B and minused them together then added this difference to the A value and got 231
its pretty high, but p1 was easy that year and so was p6
