it asked for average current, which means we had to use rms voltage
the ans for current was given if u got it ur right no matter how u did it ( if u used correct reasoning) btw to calculate current i used Q=It so i didnt need voltage !!!

thats what i did I=Q/t
and Q = CV

i think we calculated Q in the previous part i think we had to calculate dQ by using dV which we calculated in yet the previous part!! i dont xactly remember i got the value of I so im happy :)

-To calculate resistance, you have to use the mean voltage not r.m.s not peak value.
R = Vmean / I !
-I also got 580 for r.m.s speed. (kelvin used)
-For s.h.m acceleration, a = omega square x x = 2.19 i think rounded to 2.2!

What did you guys get for Question 1 d) ( last part )?
I used Phi = 1/2 v^2
I think v was 5 thousand something.

all same xcept resistance was really confused in that part!!!
and yes the speed was around 5000
and the graph of Ek was like d.c bumps right with max Ek when displacement zero!!
and about the assumptions due to volume for ideal gases what did u write???

volume of molecules negligible compared to volume occupied by gas.

Ek graph is like a sine wave but all above the x-axis. Ek at zero displacement.
For resistane check specimen paper 3 b i) if you want to understand more.
What did you find for rate of heat loss? I dont remember answer
But I found the difference between Q of heater and Q gained by water then divided it by time.

it was an epic mass ****** :D i don't know about everybody but it's pretty much an epic fail for me :/

strange that people on the 42 thread are like dancing and so happy about how that variant was easy :S
i knowww na, they are soo happy, look this means our variant is hard, cz if ones easy then the other is always hard, meaning hard paper, low GTs, do inshaAllah, we should all do good :p

aww well thats the only part im sure ill lose marks in!!
and yes rate of heat loss did the same time the loss was something in 3 digits per second i.e watt
graph same!! :)

wasnt the power loss = 2.4 x10^-3 - 1996 = 404 ?

i.e. 404 W ???
