guys im getting really confused now about forces
if two forces act in the same direction can they be in equilibrium ?
also there was a question about a wood stick that is pivoted and free to move and three forces of the same value are acting on it in different directions and the question was in which direction does the wood move ? how do we know the answer ?

In that question one force was exerted on the end of the wood stick so in the direction of that force.
As Moment = force * distance

Its not B because obviously he would do more work if he lifts 5 boxes than 2 boxes. It is C because time doesnt affect the work done. It may take a person 10 seconds and another person 1 min but the work done would be the same because work done = force x distance. The force and the distance matter to calculate the work done. More boxes means more force, while time doesnt affect force or distance.
